Hello friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July. I had some friends over for a cookout and to watch the fireworks, but haven’t had much of a chance to blog about any of it yet.

The star of the show was definitely the St. Louis ribs that I sous vide for two days and then finished on the grill. I honestly had no idea how they would turn out and compare to traditional cooking methods, but they completely surpassed my expectations. They will get their own blog post sometime soon, hopefully.

For now, I leave you with some pictures…

Marinated Shrimp and Artichokes

Pimento Cheese

Avocado Toasts

Sous Vide Ribs

Potato Salad with Homemade Mayo and Bacon

Texas Caviar

Matt’s Homemade Biscuits

Grilled Corn with Honey-Paprika Butter

What did you do for the 4th?

I want it all!! The beans, the grilled corn especially. I went to a friend’s bbq for the 4th and then made ice cream with friends in the evening before the fireworks.

I hope these sous vide ribs make it on the blog soon.  I’m definitely curious!
